Public events in Fort Collins are always a popular way to sample new beers from multiple vendors that you may not have heard of before.  Be sure to check out the local brewers stands at the following upcoming events:

Colorado Brewfest

When: Saturday, June 27th & Sunday June 28th, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m both days.
Where: Downtown Fort Collins
Cost: Admission is $10 for a 2-day Saturday/Sunday Pass & $6 Sunday Only Pass. All beer tokens are $2; you need beer tokens to get your beer samples.
Info: Great beer, food, music and fun. This year’s festival, the 20th Annual Colorado Brewers’ Festival in Downtown Fort Collins will take place June 27 & 28, 2009. Over 50 Colorado beers and 400 kegs will be enjoyed along with great live music Saturday and Sunday in Historic Downtown! (Music TBA)

4th of July Celebration

When: Saturday, July 4th, 11-6PM, Fireworks begin at 9:35PM.
Where: 11-6 in Old Town, 9:35 at City Park lake.
Cost: Both events are free to the public
Info: Live music, a beer garden and good ole American fun are in Old Town square from 11-6:00pm so bring your blankets, your lawn chairs, your sunscreen and enjoy the sunshine on July 4th Downtown.  The City of Fort Collins will cap off July 4th by providing music, food, and a spectacular fireworks show at City Park at 9:35 p.m. Listen the Fort Collins Symphony as they usher in the fireworks!
